Gold and Silver at the 2015 National Printing & Craftsmanship Awards

As you may know this last weekend we recently went down to Sydney for the PrintEx/Visual Impact Expo and the National Printing and Craftsmanship Awards.

It was a huge night. The icons of the industry were there. All the big players competing for Gold!

2015 National PICA Awards

The National Awards is the best of the best in the Printing Industry from around the country. There were just under 800 entries in total that are judged by a panel of expert Industry Judges to award the winners. There was approximately 500 who attended the Awards Ceremony and Dinner.

I must say there were a few moments when we felt like the David amongst the Goliaths of the Industry! haha 🙂

Mr & Mrs InkFX 🙂
We had a couple of entries in 2 different categories. Speciality Printing and Wide Format Printing.

Silver First

The first category that came up for us was the Wide Format category which we won a SILVER Medal in. I was very pleased with that result amidst such tough competition.

And the Winner is…

Our next category that came up was the Speciality Printing category. This is the Category that we won the Gold for in the Queensland State PICA Awards late last year.
To say we were a little nervous hearing this one announced was a massive understatement. Either way, Bronze…Silver…and then Gold to Ink FX Printing!! Oh Yeah!!!
